This beautiful eagle head mold is very detailed. The feathers, eyes, beak all show good detail. The head rises appr. 1/4 inch from the mold. The outer edges have detailed scroll work. It holds approximately 3.5 oz. of soap. The mold is made from polyurethane rubber, and weighs a little less than 1/2 pound. (similar to silicone only we think better, we have used molds made from this material for 3 years and they still work and look as good as they did when new). The soap mold area is 1 inch deep and 2 1/4 inches in height and 3 1/4 inches wide. It is perfect for a bar of soap or lotion bar. These molds do not require a mold release (although one can be used). The temperature of what you are pouring should be a maximum of 200 degrees. These will stand up to repeated use.
