This is for 15 pounds of soy/paraffin blended wax. Most blends we found are 10% to 15% soy. The majority of this blend is soy wax. The results we have experienced with this blend is the best of both worlds: 1. Practically soot free (we have never had it soot, but saying 100% soot free is putting your neck on the line). 2. No oversize wick needed (we use the same size wick in this blend as we do in our 100% paraffin candles). 3. A great scent throw cold and when burning. 4. Good coloration (no streaking, blotches, etc. often associated with 100% soys).
This is a blend of soy wax, paraffin wax, and additives we created because we couldn't find a blend, or a 100% soy base, in the marketplace that we were satisfied with. We use this blend in tarts, votives and containers (in containers it usually pulls completely away from the sides). All you have to do is add fragrance and color. This blend will hold up to 10% (by weight) of quality candle fragrance oils. We recommend in the 6-8% range.
We are offering this in a 15 pound trial size as a way for you to try our blend without having to buy a large quantity. From the picture you can see that this blend comes in small "slabs" that weigh approximately 3 pounds and 12 ounces, Each slab is like the break apart tarts (or they have a very deep score in them) Please see the picture, I have darkened the picture, but the wax is creamy white. These are so very easy to break, when you get them, the post office will probably have done it for you. :-) Once you try this blend we are sure you will want "bunches" of it.
Now for the folks that have been purchasing our wax! We would like to thank you for your past business, and let you know a little about the price and weight adjustment we have made. In the last year our company has suffered several price increases on our raw wax, that totaled a 27% increase in the cost. We have kept our prices the same over that year. But we have got to make a few changes. Now we have tried to figure out a way to not raise the total cost so dern much, so by increasing the weight from 10 to 15 pounds, and still shipping in the flat rate box. The total increase is only 7 cents a pound. Hope this helps us all. If you have any questions on it, Please feel free to drop us an email. David has broken it all down, and we'll be glad to send you the info. Thanks again!! Susan and David
