This mold makes a beautiful large pillar with a hummingbird and beautiful flowers on it (the design is repeated 3 times around it, so it circles the whole candle. This one is definately a must have. The pillar is 4 1/2 X 4 and the finished candle weighs almost 2 pounds. The mold also weighs close to 2 pounds. It is a mold that we have split for ease in removing the finished candle, (we will send it to you cut, and include the correct size rubber bands). We will give you very simple instructions on how to wick them. It is made from polyurethane rubber (similar to silicone, only we think they are more durable and last longer). No mold release agent is needed, but can be used if desired. The temperature of what you are pouring should be a maximum of 200 degrees. These will stand up to repeated use (we have used molds made from this material almost everyday for 3 years and they still work great, no tears, no cracks, just like new). This mold is a great time saver and very economical because of the number of repeated uses it provides. These molds are NOT for food use!! PLEASE NOTE: We have purchased and are now using equipment that makes our urethane molds practically bubble free. Why? Because removing the entrapped air creates a more dense mold that is stronger, lasts longer and more resistant to tearing, but the best part is the finished product comes out of the mold smoother, shinier and without all the "pits" (they look like pin pricks) that are usually seen in silicone and urethane molded candles. This creates an added step and expense for us (most mold makers don't do this), but we want to offer "top of the line" molds. We think you will be surprised at the improved look of your finished product. Now for the part We never wanted to have to include! Please feel free to create all the beautiful candles you would like with our molds, However they are copyrighted! The mold itself can not be copied!
