This mold makes 1 Beautiful Hummingbird Pillar with a flower top ( wax weight is 9.6 ounces). It is 3 1/2 inchs tall, and 3 inchs across. Please note, that anytime we show a picture, it is of wax taken straight out of the mold. In the picture we have placed an inset so you can see the top. Sorry the picture is so dark, but wanted you to be able to see the detail. It is made from polyurethane rubber (similar to silicone, only we think they are more durable and last longer). No mold release agent is needed, but can be used if desired. The temperature of what you are pouring should be a maximum of 200 degrees. These will stand up to repeated use (we have used molds made from this material almost everyday for 3 years and they still work great, no tears, no cracks, just like new). This mold is a great time saver and very economical because of the number of repeated uses it provides. These molds are NOT for food use!! PLEASE NOTE: We have purchased and are now using equipment that makes our urethane molds practically bubble free. Why? Because removing the entrapped air creates a more dense mold that is stronger, lasts longer and more resistant to tearing, but the best part is the finished product comes out of the mold smoother, shinier and without all the "pits" (they look like pin pricks) that are usually seen in silicone and urethane molded candles. This creates an added step and expense for us (most mold makers don't do this), but we want to offer "top of the line" molds. We think you will be surprised at the improved look of your finished product. Now for the part we never want to include. This mold is copy righted, you make all the beautiful candles you want from it. But the mold itself, can not be copied.
