This mold is for tarts or embeds It makes 5 whole cinnamon sticks, (total wax weight is a little over .6 ounce). For those of you who know our molds, we are using a more flexible urethane for this and several of our other odd shapes for ease in removal of finished product, we think your gonna like it!!! In the picture we have placed a quarter, to give you an idea on the size. It is made from polyurethane rubber (similar to silicone, only we think they are more durable and last longer). No mold release agent is needed, but can be used if desired. The temperature of what you are pouring should be a maximum of 200 degrees. These will stand up to repeated use (we have used molds made from this material almost everyday for 3 years and they still work great, no tears, no cracks, just like new). This mold is a great time saver and very economical because of the number of repeated uses it provides. Please email with any questions. We gladly combine shipping! These molds are not for food use.
PLEASE NOTE: We have purchased and are now using equipment that makes our urethane molds practically bubble free. Why? Because removing the entrapped air creates a more dense mold that is stronger, lasts longer and more resistant to tearing, but the best part is the finished product comes out of the mold smoother, shinier and without all the "pits" (they look like pin pricks) that are usually seen in silicone and urethane molded candles. This creates an added step and expense for us (most mold makers don't do this), but we want to offer "top of the line" molds. We think you will be surprised at the improved look of your finished product.
